since 2001. A graduate of Sutherland-Chan in Toronto,
she has worked with Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Psychologists,
Sports Medicine Doctors, Osteopaths and Naturopaths.
She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the
University of Toronto and Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Her areas of specialization are motor vehicle accidents,
whiplash, repetitive strain injuries,
sports injuries, postural concerns
and pregnancy.
The techniques she uses include: Swedish massage,
myofascial release, cranio-sacral therapy muscle
energy techniques, trigger point therapy,
hydrotherapy and remedial exercise prescription.
Christine prefers to begin with a detailed health history and postural
analysis to get to the root of the problem and to offer practical
solutions that can have long term results. However, treating symptoms
and giving a nice firm, relaxing massage is important
to healing the whole person.
Christine is also trained in pregnancy massage, labour support
and infant massage instruction as well as water fitness for specialized
populations.
Personal interests include running, swimming, biking, yoga,
meditation, travel and nutrition.
Be well and hope to see you at our clinic!
